Rainwater harvesting solutions collect water where it falls (rather than forcing it to drain away where it can add to flooding problems) and also reduces the demand for treated mains water by re-using the harvested water for activities such as garden watering, toilet flushing and clothes wash.
The Rainstream solution features a large tank (or battery of tanks) which stores rainwater collected from roof areas ready to use in non potable applications, reducing the volume of surface water run-off on new developments on both green and brownfield sites.
