Introduction
The Terrain HydroMax syphonic rainwater drainage system is designed to rapidly remove large volumes of water typically deposited during extreme rainfall events. Designed using the HydroMax software and specifically installed by a Terrain Approved Installer, this trusted and proven solution system provides many key advantages for both designers and clients.
Ideal for large, often complex roof areas, or buildings where space is a premium, the Terrain HydroTechnic software enables the designer to achieve exceptionally accurate calculations which underpin the success of any engineered siphonic drainage system.
Designed to run at full bore, the pipe effectively 'sucks' the water from the roof area, utilizing smaller pipe diameters than traditional gravity systems, whilst also significantly reducing the number of both roof outlets and downpipes required.
Currently being installed on the internationally acclaimed Masdar Institute of Science and Technology project in Abu Dhabi, the Terrain HydroMax system will provide much needed flexibility in the design of such a complex structure.
With a complete design and install package, an assessment can easily be carried out to ascertain the suitability of utilising the Terrain HydroMax system, often providing many advantages from either a design / construction perspective or physicall installation benefits when compared directly to a traditional gravity system.
